As Montrealers prepare to commemorate the first anniversary of the Haiti earthquake exactly a year ago, many organizations continue to work on fundraisers and concerts to help send money back o Haiti.
On Tuesday night we spoke to the Executive of Ralliement Etudiant Haiti - Canada (REHC), President Soraya Linge, VP Public Relations Angelo Baptiste, Vice President Luna Dure and VP Finance Ibiza Stecher. REHC is behind a fundraising concert called Haiti Rise Up which will take place at Concordia's Oscar Peterson Concert Hall on January 21st 2010. The event is designed to help build a school in Haiti through the organization Projet Avenir d'Enfants - Haiti . The night will feature many Haitian acts and much more from REHC.
